How long does it takes to deliver payoneer card in pakistan?

How long does it actually takes to deliver Payoneer card in Pakistan?

We all now what Payoneer is. It’s a global online money transfer and e-commerce payment service provider (according to Wikipedia). Payoneer is operating in over 200 countries worldwide. The Local Bank Transfer service is available in 200 countries across the globe and a full list can be found here (just scroll down to the bottom of the page).

Being a Pakistani has it’s own perks and one of those is we don’t get PayPal. In this case, when the most popular online money processor isn’t available in your country, the Payoneer is really a “Pioneer” to offer services like withdrawing money directly from ATMs (though it doesn’t come cheap), direct bank transfers (you gotta wait for 2-3 days) and e-commerce payment processing solutions.

After running a small support group on facebook to support local freelancers and others help understand how Payoneer works, I’ve received this question over and over again. ” Where’s my payoneer card?” “I applied two weeks ago but didn’t get my card?” “How long does it take?” Surely Payoneer sends an email the moment your application’s been approved that your card’s on it’s way and will take approximately 8-12 days or so. But most of the time you don’t receive the card on expected dates.

Why I didn’t receive Payoneer card in Pakistan?

Well, there could be a lot of reasons. Payoneer ships there cards using standard post service. The one that I got was sent via Royal Mail. I had to track the local supplier down and call their office (which they never answered) and then I just waited for a month and it found it’s way to my apartment. Anyways, here are some common causes that can cause a delay in the delivery of your card:

Address is not correct

Payoneer card arrives in a simple letter with your address and name printed on it. If you have miss spelled your address or worse: put it wrong, you might not get your card delivered to you for sure. So, you should double check your address before submitting the application. Below is the correct way of writing your address in your Payoneer application.

Address Line 1, Address Line 2 (Write your street address e.g., apartment number, street, house number etc. Mind the spaces and try to use abbreviations as you only get 30 characters each.)

City (Put your city name there. Use full characters e.g., “Lahore”, “Islamabad”, “Karachi” etc.)

Zip (Zip code is a bit important here. You gotta be careful with that. If you don’t know yours, just do a simple search on google like this “township lahore area code” and you will get a 5 digits code or just find yours here)

Country (Select your country from the drop down list.)

State (State doesn’t apply to Pakistan. But if you have to fill it, put your province name in there. )

Verify the Expected Delivery Date

Verify the expected delivery time through your payoneer account. The expected delivery date in the account on time of ordering is being calculated by the Payoneer system automatically based on the estimated delivery time in local areas. It usually takes around 11 to 22 days. But it may vary. So, it’s better to wait upto 22 days before placing another request for the card.

Above mentioned two, can be the main, causes for a delayed delivery. But that’s not it. You should also verify that your local address (mentioned in your account) can receive mail and there’s some one to pick it up (better if it’s you yourself).

The Payoneer card is delivered using Royal Mail and the concerned authority to deliver parcels from Royal Mail is Pakistan Post. In case you haven’t received your card after 22 days, consider paying a visit to Pakistan Post in your district and the local post office as well.

That’s it for now. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to comment below and I’ll try my best to reply to each one of your comments.  You can also join the Payoneer Paksitan facebook group for asking questions from other fellas or share your experience.
